I Skosana

First Black person to be appointed as an Executive Director of ABSA Bank.
He has held various management posts at Anglo American, IBM, Deloitte & NSB. Israel is currently a non-executive director of Old Mutual SA (JSE-listed) and Transnet, and he also serves on the Council of the University of Pretoria.
Israel is the past CEO of SA Express Airways and SARHWU Investment Holdings, and was the first Chairman of the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
By appointment of the State President, he served 2 terms as a Commercial Member of the Special Tax Courts.
He is a Founder Member and past President of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA), and was an Honorary Professor in the Department of Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Pretoria.

Makhup is a former CEO of the Saab Grintek Group.
He was also the Divisional CEO of Grintek Technologies and former Executive Director of CS Holdings.

D Motsepe

Daphne has leadership and management experience over many years in the South
African banking industry. Until 2012 Daphne was Chief Executive of Absa Unsecured Lending Cluster managing a portfolio of businesses including Absa Card, Absa Personal Loans, Woolworths Financial Services, ALLPAY, Entry Level Banking and Small Business banking. She also spent a year at Barclays Bank in London
Prior to Absa Daphne was Managing Director of Postbank
She served as Deputy Chairperson of the Strauss Commission, a Presidential Commission of inquiry into access to finance for rural people. In 2007 Daphne was named the most influential woman in Finance and Banking in South Africa by CEO magazine
She has also held management positions in a number of companies including National Sorghum Breweries, Engen and South African Post Office
She currently serves as Non-Executive Director on the boards of Mercantile Bank, Rand Mutual Assurance, XON Holdings (Pty) Ltd and is a member of EXCOM of CGAP an international organisation headquartered in Washington DC and which promotes responsible and inclusive financial markets


N Iizuka

Mr Iizuka leads NEC’s business in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia/CIS).
Mr Iizuka has over 30 years’ experience providing IT and telecoms solutions and services to customers around the world. This includes extensive experience in international markets, including roles heading up NEC’s operations in the UK and China. In 2004, Mr Iizuka left NEC to take up senior management positions at Oracle Corporation and Alcatel Lucent before returning to head up NEC’s EMEA operations in 2011, based at its regional headquarters in London. NEC operates in 31 countries with 19 companies and 20 branch offices across the EMEA region, focusing primarily on the telecom carrier, public safety, smart city and big data markets.


E le Roux

Eugene le Roux (37) joined NEC as Deputy Managing Director of NEC Africa (Pty) in 2011. He reports into Mr Masahiro Yoshikawa, President of NEC Africa. He is responsible for the direction and operational management of NEC Africa for the Southern Africa region.
